Do you have an Elevator Pitch?

Visualize this: you are riding up an elevator and someone asks what you do for a living. What can you say in 60 seconds or less that will have them wanting to hear more?

To answer, “I’m in real estate” will rarely be enough to elicit further conversation.

Try this instead: “I am a real estate agent. I use a special strategy that gives sellers the best chance to get an extra $5,000 to $15,000 when the sell their homes. Would you like to know more about the strategy?”

That takes about 10 seconds and can be used anywhere you are asked what you do or where you overhear someone wanting or needing to sell their house, condo or any other property you would like to list.

Every seller wants a timely sale (which is most often faster than the average) and the most money (which is most often above the average of recent sales of similar properties.)
